This week

Ben is out of town... again. Hopefully for the last time on job interviews. This week he is back east interviewing in Virginia and Maryland and won't be home until Saturday. Man my heart goes out and my hands applaud all women married to traveling business man. This sucks.

While he is gone I have decided to post a picture of our child doing something adorable everyday so he can see her.

Day 1

After changing her diaper this morning, Jocelyn insisted on wearing her shoes before I put her sleeper back on. Since I can't put her sleeper on over her shoes; it is now her cape. I just turned the heater up.

Playing at the park in the HOT sun 9:30am

Swimming in the UCSB Faculty Pool 11am

Long afternoon nap 1:30pm

Delicious Blenders (Red Pineapple with Mango Juice) 4:30pm

Bar-B-Que Chicken pizza dinner (from scratch) 6pm

Bath 6:30

Song/Prayers 7pm

Out like a light 7:02pm

Did I mention it is February?

When it rains...

On top of every trial I am currently facing and learning from; my heart was saddened further today when I discovered that my favorite magazine is closing. I am soooooo bummed

My dear friend Kaity is a bread making genius. She agreed to tutor me on my first endeavor.

Jocelyn loved it!

Especially the dough. She could not stop trying to eat it

Unfortunately I forgot about it during it's second rise and it got a little wonky

Sadly the big loaf didn't make it. :(

But the little ones were delicious
